R+D+I Project successfully completed

Ronautica Marinas confirms its leadership in R&D activities in the sector of concrete floating pontoons and breakwaters thanks to the results obtained in the Project “New methodologies and designs for the manufacture of concrete breakwaters and floating pontoons” developed during the last three years together with the companies Aquática Ingeneiría and Ad-Hoc.

This project has been carried out within the Conecta Peme Programme promoted by the Galician Agency for Innovation of the Xunta de Galicia and has allowed the company to develop new typologies of breakwaters and to obtain an innovative methodology for structural calculations, of attenuation and anchoring of the breakwaters with the participation of technology centres such as CITEEC (Centre for Technological Innovation in Building and Civil Engineering) and the Water and Environmental Engineering Group (GEAMA) of the University of A Coruña.
