Ronáutica Marinas confirms its leadership in R&D activities in the sector of concrete floating pontoons and breakwaters thanks to the results obtained in the project “New methodologies and designs for the manufacture of concrete floating pontoons and breakwaters” developed during the last three years together with the companies Aquática Ingeniería and Ad-Hoc.
With the participation of technological centers such as CITEEC (Center for Technological Innovation in Building and Civil Engineering) and the Water and Environmental Engineering Group (GEAMA) of the University of A Coruña, this project, carried out within the Conecta Peme Program promoted by the Galician Innovation Agency of the Xunta de Galicia, has allowed the company to develop new types of breakwaters and to obtain an innovative methodology for the structural calculation, attenuation and anchoring of breakwaters.
